What is the First-Year Advising Support Center?

The First-Year Advising Support Center (formerly known as the Center for Student Success) supports student success through holistic academic advising and resources. Home to three advising cohorts (the Pathway Program, the Undeclared-General Program, and the First-Year Advising Program for students in designated majors), the First-Year Advising Support Center (FY-ASC) also supports the general student population with advising resources, exploratory/change of major advising, and through our Peer Advising Coaches.

Through strong collaboration with campus partners, purposeful assessment, and student-focused support, FY-ASC helps students build a strong foundation to build upon throughout their college journey, and beyond.
